McKay1957: December through March

Okay, so here are some more pictures taken between Christmas and now. Sorry there are so many. We're having a great time in D.C. and we're enjoying getting out and seeing as many things as we can while we're here. Saturdays are becoming the day when the kids know that they're going to get dragged all over. They've reached the point that a quiet Saturday at home is what they want. Too bad, there is still too much to see and not enough time. They can rest when they get to El Salvador.

When you go to see the eternal flame at JFK's grave it's important to dress appropriately. Maggie is wearing the hat that she got at her boyfriend/cousin Jake's birthday party in October. At that time she stated, "I have three things to remember Jake by: My faith, My love, and This hat." The faith and the love are also still alive.

Simon will eat anything, anywhere.

Over Christmas we decided to drive south until we found the sunshine. Our first stop was Savannah which is Traci's new favorite city in America.

Saint Augustine (unbeknownst to us before) is the oldest town in the United States.

That water was cold. We warmed our feet on the way back to the car with Maggie's tears.

And this explains why Savannah is Traci's new favorite city.

Spy museum was awesome. The best part was the small spy tool kit that was made to be hidden rectally. After explaining to Abe what it was I asked him what kinds of things a spy would carry in it. His response was, "I'd put hand sanitizer."

We've been playing very hard on Saturdays.

At Annapolis we found a dive that was featured on Food Network's "Man vs. Food". While we were there a guy was trying to do the Man vs. Food challenge which consisted of a gallon milkshake and a cheeseburger with 5 patties. Shortly after we snapped this picture the guy ran past us and threw up outside our window. Awesome!
